I started off with their incredible shrimp and grits with brioche toast—a dish that brings together creamy, savory grits, succulent shrimp, and a perfectly toasted brioche that adds just the right amount of buttery goodness.
Then, I couldn’t resist trying the shrimp platter with grilled shrimp. Each piece was perfectly charred and bursting with flavor. And let’s not forget the fried green tomatoes—piping hot, crispy, and downright delicious!
Funny enough, while I didn’t spot any gnats today, I sure saw plenty of shrimp on my plate and a great number of Georgia Southern Eagles fans roaming the restaurant—students and even family members were sporting the gear. It really captures that lively, college vibe mixed with genuine Southern hospitality.
And with March Madness just around the corner, the excitement here is contagious. It’s the perfect time to catch a game with friends and family while enjoying some of the best comfort food Statesboro has to offer.
If you’re in the area, make sure to stop by Gnats Landing for a taste of true Southern flavor and a vibrant atmosphere that’ll leave you smiling. Thanks for watching, and as always, don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more delicious adventures!
